The initial step of the sunrise study dedicated to the creation of an accurate georeferenced 3D model of the Second Temple in Jerusalem reconstruction of the courtyard, altar, the Nicanor Gate, and surrounding walls. The reconstruction built according to the specifications, which appear in the Mishnah (Tractate Middot) set along a 99.7˚axis as suggested previously by Patrich. In addition, the exact elevation of the temple mount and surrounding topography, including the Mount of Olives, that modeled into the model.
